Thessaly in the neolithic period: the story of the loss of focus and Essence of Humanity

These tiny objects from a long forgotten period in the existence of mankind reflect the state of mind of the people who made them. Theirs was a world that still kept awareness of how the inner state of being of a human individual created his outer world. These people lived long before the present day “religions” emerged that focused on outer rituals without the necessary work on the inner self and instead installed “dogmas” about the nature of the divine. They also lived long before science divided life in the profane and the divine, the latter of which cannot not be spoken about by science as the current paradigm states. But what if, like in the case of the Volos museum collection, this paradigm causes a shallow and ‘empty” description of old artifacts that does NOT reflect what they once represented tot heir community members and could represent again? Are we able to learn from our past? Not if we are presented with an empty or only half a description of the essence of an object.
The symbolism that is used on these objects are a part of a coherent system of “thinking”, “feeling” and “seeing” abilities of the human consciousness. Moreover , it is based upon the integration of all three of the human information conveyers. These symbols have been incorporated in the religions of today but also in Buddhist symbolism, Taoist symbolism, tribal expressions and arts from all over our world, in the remote past (80000 years BC) until the present. For our ancestors, who made these (now) enigmatic objects, the human experience and the human/divine experience were an indivisible unity and every individual of the community felt the personal responsibility of co-creating the daily reality based upon this knowledge of maintaining a balanced inner state of mind. That balance consisted of walking a narrow path between the inner polarities of Yin and Yang energies within the self and where the Yin energies within self were the foundations of any act in the outer world. In this way duality within the lower self would be” brought up”, it would cross the “gap” and dissolve within the higher vibrations of the higher self. This was their task and focus during their lives upon this Earth and it was expressed in various ways on their artifacts that have now been excavated by “modern” mankind. The latter though has lost the ability to connect with symbols as ‘modern” symbols often are linked with commercial thought forms and as such do not take a person within the self any longer but they take them “out” based upon a desire to possess material items.
The old symbols were incorporated within the newly emerged religions that evolved towards ever more formulating of strict dogmas that were stripped of the revered balance between the inner Yin and Yang principles and that ignored the individual choice and replaced it by social and collective fear of the Divine “out there” instead of the divine within. A self obtained inner balance results in a very empowered human being whereas much of the religious dogmas make a believer feel tiny and inadequate before the eyes of a superior being. But these people still knew that the divine sleeps within the self, that it was their human task to awaken it within the self and then live it. The symbolism that they left us is a testimony of their Wisdom of the why and how of humanity, of universes and of galaxies. The most important message that they left us in this day and age of “technology” where the human mind is at it’s epitome, is that this Wisdom is connected to the inner Yin (receptive pole, “female”, negative) energy in an individual. This is not a mental “achievement” but a “feeling” or “knowing” aspect of the dual human brain; it is the right brain hemisphere that brings us these experiences and they are connected to the physical body that responds when such an experience is evoked. The experience is one of interconnectedness of all beings and things on Earth and “Yin” is the wayshower to such an experience. That is the reason that most of the figurines that were excavated are “females”.
Most of these female figurines have no head. It expresses the unconsciousness of the Yin pole (negative) of the human body (male and female) living in the lower dimensions of manifested life. To regain her wholeness she needs to be joined again with the head (consciousness, positive) because it through the work on the inner unconsciousness that we will open up our higher consciousness that will reveal the truth about mankind’s presence on Earth.
Maybe we are now able to understand the gradual erasing of this inner Knowledge and the emergence of dogmatic “thinking” that rules in a patriarch world paralleled the undermining of the position of females. Where nobody at the time in which this little object was molded would think that this female figure was about females only and that females were stupid because they could not think, the phrase “the man is the head of a woman” ended up in a holy book and was taken literally. In Christianity the figure of Maria Magdalena as a whore or Jesus’s wife is widely discussed.

Their symbolic expressions of this Sacred Knowledge have now been unearthened and although we are fascinated by their age and their appearance, we have lost the ability to connect to the symbolism that they express. Do we want to learn from our past? Are we open to the possibility that, in spite of the state of science and technology that the human being has developed in the years that have gone by, we have lost tremendous wisdom about ourselves?
Much of the symbolism that these ancient people applied is referred to as Sacred Geometry and it describes the different contents of the consciousness of a human being during his life on Earth. This geometric depiction of conscious reality has been used during at least 80000 years. Here is a short extract that serves to better understand the pictures above.
• Earth upon which we dwell, is made up of polarity. Everything has its opposite, good vs bad, right vs wrong, in vs out, high vs low etc., it is represented by angles to indicate the sudden twists and turns in the lower dimensions
• The human being is also made up of two energies within; Yin (receptive, inward, “female”) and Yang (outward, “male”)
• A cube represents the 3 dimensions of polarity on Earth, width, length and depth or the physical, the emotional and the mental dimensions within the human being itself. When the depth of the mental dimensions is entered by going deep within the unconscious self (lower self or later called “Satan”) a fourth dimension comes within reach.
• A horizontal rectangle represents a polarized consciousness, either Yin or Yang polarized, only half of a whole.
• A triangle represents the creative ability of the human (un)consciousness with the base as the seemingly opposites of Yin and Yang, or negative and positive, good and bad and the top representing the focus or intent with which the human being sets his actions in motion. The triangle represents the creative quality of the content (whether negative or positive) of the human (un)consciousness. The top represents the focus, the intent of the individual. In the religious belief systems that emerged later in history this was called the Holy Trinity and was regarded as something “outside”of self. The true meaning of this little triangular object conveys how the balanced inner polarity is being brought up by choice of the individual (intent, focus) to embody the Yin energies during his lifetime. This requires the Yang energies to surrender to the Yin energies, to “lift” the Yin (hence the tripod is heightened at the top) in the personality self by surrendering the Yang energies of the ego self to the Yin.
• The rhombus represents the (un)consciousness that has been lifted to an higher octave of vibration after the work on the inner self. With this state of mind the individual will have a broader view about the “reality” that lies behind what is visible to our eyes. It was this ideal that was focused upon, this was their pursuit of happiness.
