The mathematical number Phi and its true meaning
In the 1st episode of this series about the Greek alphabet and its hidden Wisdom (https://www.eternalsymbols.com/wake-up-the-cosmic-truth-of-the-human-paradigm-within-the-greek-alphabet/ ) we stumbled upon the letter Pi, Π, the 17th letter with 80 as its value. The mathematical number corresponding with Π, the Gate is 3.14. It is constituted of 3 numbers and refers to 3 dimensions that we live in upon Earth and at the same time the three dimension in ourselves that are, body, feelings, and the dimension of mental constructs or thinking.

Figure 1 The original Greek alphabet. When we entered patriarch times the three letters with * were removed
Phi, on the other hand, another mathematical concept, with its mathematical number 1.618 has 4 numbers and refers to the 4th dimension that are opened up in self once Pi is established through thorough self-searching and connecting with inner motives that drive the personality or ego-self that is NOT the true Self.
In mathematics, ‘Phi’ is considered ‘the lucky number” or The Golden Mean. It is that very moment when the spiraling line (Yin energy) transforms into the straight (Yang energy, red) lines of our Earth and vice versa.
Living on Earth means we live in a Yang reality, geometrically a cube or ‘box’ and the human task is to disclose the Yin faculty (blue) in self and walk it. In order to understand Earth’s energetic reality I describe the threefold energies that a human being has at its disposal in his daily life in ‘the box’. You will realize we are all walking universes here on Earth caught in the ‘box’ of consciousness…unfortunately in this day and age, most of us have lost the key to unlock our ‘box’. Every human being has 3 types of energy available in him/herself:
- Yang energy: straight lines, uneven number, consciousness, focused outward, analytic, color red, giving, positively polarized
- Yin energy: undulating, curved lines, even number, consciousness-energy, focused inward, synthetic, color blue, receiving, negatively polarized
- Free Will: another Yang energy that we use to act in our outside world. So the execution of our Free Will is based on a hopefully conscious or more often than not, an unconscious decision. The latter is our task; to transform unconscious decisions into conscious ones because unconscious decisions cause Karma ( the hook or Γ) in the next life. To avoid building up new karma we have to know who we are in this life and what we came to do on planet Earth because yes!: We are here on a Mission… and that Mission has a symbol ◊ that is known worldwide and in all times! It is also hidden within the Greek alphabet in figure 1. It envelops the decades which are in the Soul column. Our Mission concerns the Soul. It is a SHE and we have to free her within ourselves during this lifetime we are living. Our Will to execute this task must be activated by ourselves.
- We also have a body that is either Yin (female) or Yang (male). Women therefore are more balanced in their energetic makeup; men are 3 times Yang and 1 time Yin. Females are twice Yin and twice Yang. The process of self-reflection requires introspection or inverting your Will (yang energy that is normally directed outward). Males have a disadvantage therefore and the results are very clear in this world!
Pi learns us that the Gate of Heaven lies within us. Phi teaches us to walk in two worlds…
The threefold energies of Yang, Yin and the Will in every human being are however dipped in DUALITY when we are alive on Earth. In order for us to be able to enter and go through The Gate to unity we have to clear and overcome our own duality. This duality has a color also; it is black to depict unconsciousness and we need to bring our light within it, the light of consciousness-energy. We establish that by being aware of our own energy at any given time when making decisions or in exchange with another person. We have to dive deep within our own ‘waters’ (feelings, emotions).
The duality in ourselves has a symbol; a downward pointed triangle V for our lower self. Our Higher Self has an upward pointed triangle Λ as its symbol. The latter became known as The Holy Trinity in Christianity.
Back to Phi with its letter symbol φ: it is the 23d letter of the Greek alphabet. 23 is a prime number. It is actually the 9th consecutive prime number.
A prime number means that is only dividable by itself. 23 as such is here indeed the lucky number since this human being now has become ‘whole’. He has superseded the 3 dimensions of duality into the oneness of the higher 4th dimension in self and stepped through the Gate by being his own ‘keys’[1], indeed plural, through extensive scrutiny of the inner energetic workings in self. Investigating his ‘crown of thorns’, the painful thought constructs, feelings and memories that every person has to deal with in life.
The letter Phi in the Greek alphabet has 23 as the consecutive number and 500 as its value. Again it points towards a cosmic reality in the life of a human being whether or not that reality is made conscious in self.

Figure 2 The tilted axis of planet Earth

Figure 3 Ecliptics of Planet Earth
As you can see in figure 2 the Earth axis is tilted. The degree is 23.5°. The wobble of the Earth axis describes on the North pole a circle; it is called precession circle. It takes 25.772 (23, the 9th prime number) years to form that circle.
Translated to the human beings that are part of Earth as Her children it means that the north pole in human beings has ‘fallen’ and we need to ‘repair’ it in ourselves by transmuting 23.5° or 46 unconscious assumptions about ‘reality’ into virtue in ourselves. It requires an honest outlook on the personality self and transforming it into a better version of itself. The letter symbol φ is very clear… the axis runs through the middle. It really is re-balancing ̸ 3D yang energy from our outer material planet (red color) with \, our inner Yin energy (blue color) = X through the works of self-reflection and pondering on what we as a Soul in a body, are here for. Then we can re-establish the straight axis I. Some of you reading this will now recognize the symbol , it is the Christian Chiro (P being the Greek letter for the sound of R, added together 43/700). The symbol of Chiro refers to 7 dimensions in self that are re-balanced by the individual’s own inner work on the ego or personality-self. In esotericism[2] the old hermetic proverb is : ‘As above, so below’ but it is a half truth because below is a mirror on Earth from what is above and everything on Earth is therefore the reverse from above and reversed again within ourselves. We have to look into the mirror and everybody else is our mirror…
If we translate the mathematical number Phi or 1.618 back into the letters of the Greek alphabet we get; XX18 (Xilioi for 1.000, X (Chi) for 600 and 18). We see that two X’s (also referring to the female species as XY refers to the male one) form a diamond ◊. This motive was called Pallas Athena, ΠΑΛΛΑΣ (342=9) AΘΗΝΑ (69=15=6) (Pallas Athena) or the spear of the goddess Athena. The number 18 refers to the column in the alphabet of the Body and the Soul or in dimensional language; Earth and Water. A historic feature is appropriate to remember here; when the legendary kings of Persia, Cyrus (600 BCE) and Darius (559 BCE), had succeeded in conquering their enemies they claimed victory by demanding to be offered ceremoniously two buckets by his new subjects[3]. One bucket had to contain Earth the other one Water. The message: I am now Master over your bodies and I reign over your feelings. You will adhere to me!

Fascinating! Would love to learn more.
Phi is the 21st letter of the Greek alphabet…..
Thank you so much for all the info! I’ve been dreaming of this sign recently. So much synchonicity with the Yin/Yang as well since I have been researching balancing of the Divine Masculine & Divine Feminine in Self. I also find it interesting your diagram illustrates the Ingwaz rune, harmony and balance for this Libran. Blessed Be!
