This enigmatic object is made of hard crystalline limestone and was found in Tel Brak in the 1920’s , in present day Eastern Syria in what used to be the ancient city of Nagar. It was found in what must have been a temple, now called by archaeologists “the Eye Temple” since there were thousands of these kind of “idols”, probably  offerings to some sort of deity. The height is 15 cm and it is quite heavy. It can be dated back to the 4^th millennium BC. She (!) was by no means an “idol” however; that is a 21^st century scientific though patriarch vision projected onto the 4^th millennium BC…….

This little figurine speaks a language that has been hidden for thousands of years now and most of humanity can therefore no longer receive the message that she is gracefully conveying through the geometric principles and the symbolism that the dedicated artist used. It tells the viewer of the Inner Teachings, the way back Home for the spirit while walking within a physical body on Earth. She is the Great Mother of all that Is, the energetic Matrix, the “white Light, Divine Yin, Sjechina, the Greek Theotokos (“God-bearer”) and just like mothers of the world do today she gives an answer to our questions: “where did I come from”, “why does it have to be so difficult in my life”, “why am I here”. She reminds us of our true purpose on Earth and how to realize it in our lives. To achieve that she tells us, we have to go deep within ourselves,” lift the stones and look underneath” and after we have dug through the compressed layers of our dense (stone like) bodies with our minds that try to undo the  congenital polarity programming, we may hit the light that is hidden deep within us.  We were always meant to unlock ourselves of our prisons and manifest on Earth from our hidden Essence but our ego driven personalities (Yang energy) have taken over in the lower dimensions of the square at the base, manifesting an ever denser and wider square base.. Divine Yin is dormant in the present state within the human realm. But let me explain first…..

The designer of this once  sacred object worked with the principle of Sacred Geometry (see article) that is inherent to the Inner Teachings and that still is applied in the world.  A square represents the Earth dimension with the number 4. In China the number 4 is not popular as it is associated with “death”. That is probably because we only perceive three dimensions with our physical eyes. The 4th dimension has to be discovered first within ourselves where our “inner eyes” can perceive it. If we will have become aware of this inner 4th dimension that is only accessible through the human heart, we will “see and feel” it’s presence everywhere and know that it is the base of our very existence, of all life. If Sacred Geometry of the Inner Teachings as a universal principle is valid we must be able to find it everywhere; and we do! The pattern of this  ca 6000 year old depiction of the  Great Mother, the reality that is underlying the very existence of Earth in the three dimensional realm, was and still is known in remote places (link, link).

The weight of this artefact comes mainly from the square base as to stress the density where we live in, as if we are squeezed to death and the spirit is compressed. Watch her symbol, several thousands of years later in Greek, when her image was taken from oral tradition into a literate world ( link). At the base we see a repetition of the whole figurine and more indentations but they are not quite the same; the circular “heart” is missing in her offspring. We can see that the little copies at the bottom are multiplied in a horizontal way, that is what we human beings do. We are very busy down here, we “go and multiply” and we add to the density in the dimensions on Earth because of the choices we make from our dualistic mind but where are our hearts?  can we become aware that we are still part of a greater reality that gave birth to us from it’s own Heart? This Divine Heart is what is called the Christ consciousness, Krishna consciousness, Buddha consciousness. It corresponds to the number 5 from the divine creational point of view top down and within the human being with the 4th chakra, the human heart.

On the picture right we can see that when the sunlight hits the figurine it lightens up from within but NOT at the bottom. No light can penetrate there because of the density of the stone. It expresses to us that we live in austerity, in darkness because we are no longer aware of our true identity and of our connection to our Divine Mother/Father. But even if we are not aware of it we are always connected to the Whole, the Hologram. So, how do we transform our ignorance en reconnect to our divine heritage? This is shown if we tilt Her Grace a little bit over and we peep underneath her garment: it is hollow! And what’s more; the clever artist knew that the rays of sunlight would be visible in that little hollow because of his choice of material to work with. So, the Light is really within us, “the kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:20-21) and it is inside the Earth, hence the sacred caves all over our globe. Our spirit is clad in stone and we have to free it ourselves by digging in our conscious, subconscious and unconscious layers of self until we reach our Divine Core and only then will we be able to find our way back Home. Then, so promises the Mother, will we see  Truth, we will have the all-seeing eyes of Father/Mother God……

The wide eyes of the Divine above the heart have three layers on the outside, representing the Trinity of Creation and the middle one, Love, is the most protruding. Our Creation was mend to be a creation of Love! The eyes can see forward and backward with the unity consciousness that they possess. The eyes of the human  down under in the earthly domain cannot see in all directions because of the stone prison that the spirit is locked into, the duality that is in their consciousness and the absence of the human heart  prevents the eye of the beholder to see the truth about himself and his world. But as we are still part of the Hologram and as such have divine creative power  we create with the unconsciousness that our polarity programmed minds contain,  resulting in the ego driven personalities of human beings and it is visible everywhere in the lack of balance, harmony and peace in our world.

5000-6000 years ago The Great Mother held deep meaning for a human beings individual journey through life and for the community as a whole. Thousands of other eye figurines have been found so she clearly  represented an ideal that was strived after.
